Job Title: Key Account Manager Mercedes-Benz (w/m/d)
Location: Unterschleißheim (Munich Region), Deutschland
In this role, you are expected to be responsible for:
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals set by Minth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and preferences.
- Work with clients to develop and execute strategic sales plans that align with their business objectives.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and contribute to the sales pipeline management.
- Initiate with local team and Minth Group kick off meetings for OEM related RFQ’s.
- Representing Minth at the customer for local and global projects.
- Support other Minth teams globally with project nominations for OEMs (in cooperation with the CFTs).
- Communicate quotes to customer prior to submission to end customer
- Proactively interfacing with engineering and R&D.
- Bring forward the business development.
- Having budget responsibility.
- Support local and HQ team to win new business and explore new product lines, propose quote levels to Minth Group.
- Study and communicate to Minth Group and GM new business and car model strategies.
Following qualifications and abilities are expected for this role:
- University degree or equivalent education in a Sales / Marketing or Engineering area with at least 5 years of professional experience with German OEMs, preferably with structural parts experience
- Fluent English and German required
- Self-driven and pro-active, flexibility to changing environments
- Able and willing to take responsibility for the business development
- The ability to negotiate effectively with clients to reach mutually beneficial agreements
- Profound understanding of the European auto market including innovations, technologies and market movements
- Very good communicator – effectively handle communication with customer and Minth group
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to identify and solve sales challenges
- Capable of working effectively with cross-functional Minth teams to achieve company goals
